Manufactured at Dunhill’s London workshops during one of the most collected decade of the company's history, this pipe features all the hallmark characteristics of Alfred Dunhill’s golden era of industrial innovation. This rare piece is structurally sound and displays the iconic, White Spot logo directly on its black mouthpiece.

The historical significance of this collectible is written directly into its nomenclature. The shank features the coveted "Ao" stamping, which represents Dunhill's earliest first-quality smooth Bruyere finish with its signature deep, translucent red stain, paired with a specific 1920s inner-shop sizing code. It is also stamped with "DUNHILL LONDON" on one side and "MADE IN ENGLAND" followed by an underscored suffix "7" date code, alongside the official catalog shape number 151, which denotes a beautifully proportioned, highly collectible classic. Crucially, the wood bears the "INNER TUBE" PATENT No 197365/20 marking, a direct reference to the revolutionary 1920 British patent for Dunhill's removable aluminum system designed to keep the airway dry.

This is a great opportunity to own a piece of 20th-century luxury pipemaking history that will easily stand out in any collection.

Pipe has not been cleaned, still has ash/residue in the bowl. The moutpiece is pretty tightly in place, therefore we have not been able to check inside, as we do not want to break anything. Overall looks to be in great condition, especially considering it is 100 years old and was used.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0526/8979/7290/files/231AB3C2-D4C5-431F-9BA8-5BBA2F380F57.jpg?v=1793118065
https://homeagainvintage.com/products/dunhill-antique-1924-shell-briar-39-24-billiard-estate-pipe-copy
