Beautifully formed light pink apatite crystal resting atop a black schorl tourmaline crystal. Beautiful piece that tells a story of the history of its formation. The schorl has tourmaline's typical triangular cross-section and well-defined vertical growth lines. The tourmaline crystal was broken at some point in its history, due to movement of the earth, It was still close enough in contact to eventually re-heal into its current bent appearance. From Chamachhu, Haramosh Mountains, Skardu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
