Rubellite Tourmaline in Lepidolite Mineral Specimen - San Diego, California

Beautiful thumbnail-size mineral specimen of rubellite tourmaline in a lepidolite matrix from San Diego, California, USA.

This specimen had been previously mounted by glue on foam in a hinged thumbnail box. It has since been moved to a new, clear acryclic box, set in tack. You can see in some photos glue residue. It can probably be removed, but delicately.
