Vintage Ceramic Hand Painted Gilt Bird Ornament

Beautiful vintage ceramic ornament accurately depicting a life-like bird, painted in creamy shades and accented and highlighted with gilt. In good condition for its age. Pretty dirty. Has a few small chips and paint loss. There is one strange unfinished part on one of its wings, possibly where it was attached to the mold it was made in?
