Filtrax - Vintage West German Cigarette Holder Filtration Device

An interesting and very rare piece of smoking history. This is a cigarette holder designed with a filtration system. Made in West Germany most likely in the late 1950s or early 1960s. Seems to be in good condition, but unsure how it functions. Looks like maybe it uses water as a filter, just a guess. Seems to have been lightly used.

This was recently uncovered as part of a single-owner estate collection, including many antique and vintage smoking pipes that we are also listing for sale.
