Herman Berserik - "Train in Tunis" Vintage Signed Framed Engraving

A vintage, signed, framed engraving on paper by Dutch artist Herman (Hermanus) Berserik titled "Train in Tunis" depicting a streetcar in the city of Tunis, Tunisia. In very nice condition for its age, some browning, it's been attached to the fabric mat. Signed "Berserik" in plate. In pencil it is signed by the artist, as well as titled and dated. The piece was signed in 1960. 

Herman Berserik (1921-2002) was a painter and printmaker from the Netherlands. Berserik was also known for his illustrations, and being a teacher at the Hague Academy of Art. He has a unique style that covers a variety of subjects, as well as his travels through North Africa, Syria, and Lebanon.
